MERLIN season 2 episode 4 :D

this is my first post and I've decided to rant about the show Merlin, as i have just finished watching the 4Th episode of the 2ND season. Well, rant may not be the most suitable word. Perhaps "critique" is more fitting.

First of all, i was hoping the episode would be more about Morgana but instead it was more of an Arthur/Gwen episode. In the beg. of the episode, Morgana and Arthur had a 10 second interaction [quite an improvement on how they had no interaction in previous episodes]. Since I'm a huge Arthur/Morgana shipper, i was furious when Arthur found Morgana barely dressed, bruised, and covered in dirt and merely said "Where's Guinevere?". FAIL. After all, Arthur has known Morgana his whole life, has grown up with her, and has had possible feelings for her in season 1. On the other hand, he talks to Gwen a few times and falls in love with her in one episode. I can't believe the writers would drop Arthur/Morgana in 1 episode. I think i speak for all Arthur/Morgana fans when i say that i was mortified when Arthur/Gwen appeared out of nowhere.

i did however enjoy merlin season 2 episode 3, mainly because it focused on morgana. I also ship Merlin/Morgana since Merlin is such a cutie and needs someone to love. I liked the scene where Arthur saw Merlin going to Morgana's chambers with flowers. [how sweet was thatt?] I couldnt stop smiling at the end of the episode where Arthur told Merlin that Uther would see him executed if he found out. This scene means one of two things:

1. Arthur likes Morgana. Why else would he tell Merlin to stay away from her?
2. Merlin likes Morgana. He bought her flowers and visited her at night to make sure she was okay.

Now i cant decide who would be a better fit for Morgana, Arthur or Merlin? Honestly, i support any Morgana shipping, except if its uther or gaius or anyone old and unattractive. Lets compare and contrast Arthur and Merlin, shall we:

Arthur:
-arrogant
-HOTTIE with a body ;]
-can be sweet at times [remember when he freed morgana from the dungeon and said that next time he wont be able to help her. aww that was sweet of him. and also wen he tried to persuade his father to let the druid boy live for morgana's sake]
-brave [obviously]
-willing to fight for the one he loves [as we saw in S02E04 when he went against his father to save gwen. ewww]
-has amazing hair. haha
-doesnt show his feelings much

Merlin:
-can connect with Morgana more since he can also use magic
-comforts Morgana more
-brought morgana flowers [and arthur didnt D:]
-in S02E03, when he asked the dragon to tell him what to do, the dragon told him not to help her and he said "i wont abandon her" [that nearly melted my heart]
-visited morgana at the end of S02E03
-not the most noble/brave person [between him and arthur, i'd want arthur to be my knight in shining armor]
-makes stupid mistakes and sometimes doesnt think of the consequences
-adorablee when he smiles


i used to ship arthur/morgana in season 1, but now that the stupid writers of the show dropped them and made arthur fall retardedly in love with gwen, i now ship merlin/morgana with a slight hope that morgana/arthur will still happen.

sorry for the long, long post but i just had to get all those feelings out haha. for all the merlin fans out there, comment and tell me what you thinkk. non-merlin fans are welcome to comment as well.
